Fairy Tales Lessons(The Ugly Side)-Part I

Note: These lessons are based on some weak arguments. Mostly just an aimless ramblings :-)

1. Fall in love with a beast(read: ugly person); chances are they'll turn attractive





2.  Don't go with your dad on a camping trip; he'll probably abandon you


3. Do not worry about your looks; when you grow up you'll be beautiful




4. Your stepmother will hate you if you are attractive




5. It's OK to steal as long as it's from a person who looks different

    The Little Mermaid also teaches about changing into someone who you are not for someone to love you. Something like that...

    I have this..
    1. Kiss a frog and he'll turn into a handsome prince! :D (The Frog Prince??)
    2. If there's a seedy, suspicious looking person in the neighborhood, chances are that he most likely is the Bad guy!
    May that's why they are called "fairy" tales!!

    Snow White also teaches us that no matter how nice and helpful and friendly you are, if you are short and ugly (dwarf) you will never get the girl, and will have to make way for the handsome guy to swoop in and take your woman away from you :D

    What about people like us who are already ugly? If we fall in love with someone ugly and he turned into someone attractive wouldn't he become vain and leave us?
